For Norton Rose Fulbright's website redesign, the team was tasked with refining and expanding an existing homepage design provided at the start of the project. While the initial concept established a visual direction, significant improvements were needed to strengthen usability, accessibility, and overall visual consistency. The team refined the interface by simplifying content hierarchy, improving layout structure, enhancing navigation patterns, and establishing a more cohesive visual language. These enhancements created a stronger foundation that could be scaled across additional page templates while delivering a more intuitive and polished user experience.
A key contribution to the project was the creation of a comprehensive design system in Figma, which served as the foundation for all subsequent design work. The system included reusable components, layout patterns, typography standards, and responsive design guidelines that ensured consistency across the growing website. Close collaboration with the development team helped align design and implementation, while detailed usage annotations were incorporated throughout the system to guide client authors and content managers. These annotations provided clear instructions on component behavior, content requirements, and best practices, enabling the client to confidently manage and extend the website while preserving the integrity of the design system.
